Την Τρίτη το πρωί, η Ακαδημία Τηλεόρασης ανακοίνωσε τις υποψηφιότητες για τα βραβεία Emmy του 2019.
Το Pose έλαμψε με συνολικά έξι υποψηφιότητες, συμπεριλαμβανομένου εκείνου για τον καλύτερο ηθοποιό, για τον Billy Porter και για το καλύτερο δράμα. Εν τω μεταξύ, το Drag Race του RuPaul είναι, επίσης, υποψήφιο για το καλύτερο Competition Show.
